In April 2006 the Premier Jurat, Mme Françoise Capdemourlin, his wife, and Mme
Nicole Roskam-Brunot from Ch. Cantenac, M. Eric d'Aramon from Ch. Figeac and M. François Sulzer from Ch. La Bonnelle
visited London for dinner at Gray's Inn and, on the following day, for lunch at Westminster College.
It was the first time in the Jurade's long history that Jurats had visited an Inn of Court, although many bottles of
Saint-Émilion have passed through the doors of all four of the Inns over their long years.
Before a candlelit dinner in Hall beneath the panelling taken from the ships of the Spanish Armada, The Rt. Hon.
Lord Justice Jacob, Vice-Treasurer of the Inn, and His Honour Judge Hone Q.C., Chairman of the Wine Committee at the Inner Temple and at Boodle's, were both intronisé as Vignerons d'Honneur and Bourgeois de Saint-Émilion in the presence of large number of distinguished guests.
