Northern Chancellery's visit to Saint Emilion, September 2007

The York Chancellery of the Jurade visits Saint-Emilion each year for the Ban des Vendanges, enjoying Saint-Emilion’s wonderful hospitality and the ceremonial beginning of the vintage.

In 2007 the group was, as always, generously and kindly received at a number of Chateaux. This year we visited: Châteaux Petit Fombrauge, Pavie-Macquin, Ripeau, Grace-Dieu les Menuts, Berliquet, Angelus, Haut Veyrac, Cheval Blanc and Puy Razac.

Thumbnail photographs from the visit, including some of our reception at some of those Châteaux and the ceremonies for the Intronisation of new Vignerons d’Honneur and Dames de la Jurade, are shown below and on the pages which follow.
